I’ll be the first to tell you, I used to hate group fitness classes. To me they were intimidating, uncomfortable, and felt more like a chore than something I actually enjoyed doing. Everything changed when I took my first cycle class at Studio One in September of 2022. After that, I was immediately hooked. Each workout challenged me but was also incredibly fun- two things that I did not believe could be mutually exclusive. More than that, the community welcomed me and encouraged me through each milestone. I felt empowered to challenge myself and, further, to challenge my own narrative of what I am capable of accomplishing. I hope to create that same feeling in my cycle classes. Show up as you are, ready to have fun and push yourself a little bit further outside your comfort zone- you’ll discover that you are unstoppable.
