BIO:
Alexa discovered fitness as a form of therapy in her late teens. She wasn't involved in sports growing up, she spent most of her time painting and exploring other creative outlets. When she took a front desk position at the local gym in her teens, it marked the beginning of her shift towards a more physically active form of creativity.
In 2015, after years of dedication to her own fitness journey, she decided it was time to pursue her personal training certification. She recognized the importance of working out not just for physical benefits but for overall well-being—mind, body, and soul. Once she became a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, she took a chance and started teaching group fitness in 2016. Since then, she has trained and taught at a variety of locations, ranging from boutique studios to large gyms.
Alexa had cycled in the past, but it wasn't a regular workout for her. If you know her, it might surprise you to see her in a cycle class! In the Summer of 2024, she was ready for a new challenge and began taking cycling classes at Studio One. She quickly fell in love with cycling and then started taking movement classes as well. Now hooked on everything Studio One had to offer, she felt inspired to become an instructor. Alexa takes safety seriously but never misses an opportunity for jokes and banter! She is excited and can’t wait to kick some butt with the community!
