“keep showing up”

Cycle Instructor

I have been a competitive athlete since I was a little kid. And now as a marathoner, you can imagine that running wreaks a special type of havoc on my body, physically and mentally. In order to be the best version of myself I found indoor cycling as a great way to not only supplement my running and keep me injury free, but allow me to move in a space that was so uniquely and purely mine. I can still remember that very first class, thinking … 45 minutes is over already? Did I go to the gym or the club? Does the instructor want to be my BFF? From there, I was hooked. And since 2008 I have been teaching and dancing in a dark room on a bike. While cycle has been a part of my life for a long time, this modality has greatly evolved, and therefore I have evolved as an athlete with it.

My mantra is, do something that challenges you but doesn’t hold you back. When you enter one of my classes you’ll immediately feel at home. I love to choose music that lights me up, and in turn will light you up too. There is no greater gift than getting the privilege to ride with a group of people who are looking to invest time in themselves. To me, it’s not about going hard every day. It’s about showing up for yourself, period.

Movement is the recipe to staying forever young. Wherever you are in life, I’ve got you. Let’s move together. Come for the music, stay for the fun, and keep returning for the friendship. I can’t wait to sweat with you.
